THE RULES!

I know, I know. No one likes the rules, especially when they're long and boring. But I've done my best to write these as short and sweet as possible. If you have any questions, just let me or another staff member know, and we'll gladly assist you.
OUT OF CHARACTER!
» respect everyone.
Show everyone respect. Not only will it make them like you more, but us staff will like you more too. We'd also like you to be careful when talking about anything involving race, religion, politics, etc.
» the staff overrule you.
They put their hard work into this site, therefore, the staff are in charge. Unless the admin (me) says otherwise, anything that the staff members say, goes. If you think a staff member is acting unfairly, just let me know and we can sort things out.
» watch your language.
While you're on the site, please watch your language. I don't want to see any f-bombs thrown around, and any other words should be extremely limited. Any words that are completely not welcome here have been censored already, so just try to watch your mouth.
» all uppercase letters, please.
Once you register, please change your display name to something in all uppercase letters. This site is one account per member, so your name can be anything (appropriate) that you want. Just try not to use a whole bunch of symbols, okay?
» be active, or be gone.
We will have an activity check on the first of every month (minus January, because people like to go on holidays over the new year). Make sure that when you join, you stay active. If you're going to be away for a while, let us know in the correct board.
IN CHARACTER!
» help yourself to characters.
That's right, you can have as many characters as you want. You may not, however, create a bunch of cats that are all in the same Clan, of the same rank, etc. Try for some variety, or we will be forced to limit your characters. You may only have two high positions, and they can't be of the same type, or in the same Clan.
Example: You may have...
ThunderClan leader x WindClan medicine cat
ShadowClan deputy x RiverClan leader
WindClan leader x ShadowClan medicine cat apprentice
You may not have...
ThunderClan leader x RiverClan leader
ShadowClan medicine cat x WindClan medicine cat apprentice
WindClan deputy x ShadowClan deputy
ThunderClan leader x ThunderClan medicine cat
» wait until you're approved.
This goes without saying, but I'll say it anyways. Please wait until your character's application has been approved before you start roleplaying. It makes the staff's lives much easier.
» we'd like 200 words per post.
It's not that hard, actually. If you're having a really bad day for muse and can only reach 190 or so, we'll cut you some slack, but if you're continuously giving us 150 word posts, we'll say something. Please, try for 200 words per post.
» don't get too graphic.
I know, warrior cats does have its fair share of violence, romance, dark themes, etc. But it doesn't go way overboard, does it? Violence shouldn't be gory and graphic, sex shouldn't be roleplayed out, and cursing should be kept to the terms the cats use. If you're not sure about whether something's okay or not, ask me.
» liquid time is allowed here.
What this means is that your character can be in more than one thread at once. Just make sure that you keep all of your threads active. We don't want to hear any complaints that you've been putting off replying to threads for too long.
» keep in mind the warrior code.
Of course, some of the most interesting plots involve the warrior code getting broken. But before you break the warrior code, at least let me know. I don't want every medicine cat to have kits, and not everyone will have a love from another Clan. Also, if the Clan leader finds out, your character will be punished.
» attend the gatherings and meetings.
Unlike the warrior cats books, any cat who is an apprentice, warrior, deputy, or leader will be able to attend every gathering, unless being punished by the Clan leader. Medicine cats and their apprentices can attend the gathering, though if there's too much sickness in their Clan, they will need to stay in camp.
» don't powerplay or godmode.
Again, I think this goes without saying. For those of you who are unsure what this means, it's basically saying that you can't control another person's character, and your cat isn't invincible. If someone you're roleplaying with is doing this, please notify a staff member.
There, all done. That wasn't so bad, was it?
